Beatrix and Garnet

“Lady Garnet!!” Beatrix gasped, recognising her Queen and immediately kneeling before her.

She wanted to hug the adorable girl, after being around her since the princess’s childhood, she felt a strong bond to the girl but she was a professional and would present herself as such.

“It is so good to see you!” she exclaimed, unable to contain her joy as she smiled sweetly.

“Beatrix. It’s good to see you too” she said with a smile

“Its been a while.” she said seeing Beatrix smile

“You know I worry when I am not at my Queen’s side” she said, getting to her feet and frowning.

“Though I suppose you have proven you are quite adept at handling yourself.” she said, her expression softening as she glanced at the younger girl.

“Come, I would have words with you, how has everything been, what have you been up to?”

“I didn’t mean to make you worry beatrix” she said

“I’m just checking the kingdom out. It’s getting a little easier every day. I wish I could still go on adventure’s though, ( I have to let go of the past and move on, just like he taught me) what have you been up too?” she asked her softly
