Garnet was a bit annoyed at her self. She couldn’t find the object which was disappointing but she knew she would find it. She looked around some more and she looked out to the sea.
The soldier, on the other hand, began her search for the person that seeks for this object. Afterall, she wouldn’t want to time travel herself, save for the paradoxes and time inconsistencies that may occur because of it. Regardless, she went to the latter female after spotting her at the corner of her eye.
”Found it.” She said as she finally got to a closer proximity to Garnet.
Garnet went over to her “That’s brilliant she said with a smile. She then looked at the object then at Lightning “Now what?” she asked curious after all she’d never travelled through gates before.
Garnet looked at him with a questioning look but got off his bed any way, she didn’t mind she placed her hands in front of her and smiled gently “So what would you like to do Hope?” she asked him curious, she figured he’d know what to do since it was his world not hers.
“I know what we can do, lets go to the beach” Hope said, he then ran off to get his wallet and then looked inside. “I have enough to buy to return tickets so lets go” Hope said pulling out the money he needed.
Garnet started to put on her shoes and looked up at him “The beach, you have a beach in your world?” she asked him curious.
“Yeah we do, its on a little seaside town” Hope said with a small smile on his face as he put his boots on and then he ran to the bedroom and packed a bag ready to go out. “Right we need to take the train” he said trying to count his money
Garnet stood up and waited “You sure it’s okay?” she asked as she saw him count his money.
Minutes passed since the investigation began, and Lightning had long crossed the boundaries before backtracking to where she initially started. Her boots crunch against the grass, which soon transition into the beachy sand before a peculiar object chanced upon her eyes from the ocean waters. It was sparkling, glittering unnaturally.
Hm, that was easy. Lightning thought to herself as she kneeled down, examining the object even closer. She should notify Garnet about this right away.
Garnet was a bit annoyed at her self. She couldn’t find the object which was disappointing but she knew she would find it. She looked around some more and she looked out to the sea.
“That does seem like the best option as we may find it quicker that way. Shell we meet up after we finished with our section?” she asked before walking off to find this object.
”Yes.” The soldier answered as she nodded, already taking off to go on to the section near the forest boundary, but not going too far from the original village. Her azure eyes scan for signs of anything unfamiliar, ignoring the surrounding persons that were to eye her suspiciously.
Before she could say anything Lightning was gone. She decided to look around, of course it be familiar to her if it was from her time. It would take a while but she was determined to find this object if she was gone to long she knew the guards would think she was kidnapped. Garnet hoped it would not take long
The ravenette clapped her hands together in excitement, a bright smile blossoming on her face. Finally! Someone understood her reasoning and even wanted to help! This was wonderful. “That’s great! It’s great to finally meet someone who feels the same way I do!” She turned to the side a little, looking out over the expanse around them. “I was planning to head more towards Chaos’ territory. I think they might have something to do with it… or at least it seems they remember more than we do.”
She gave a small hum and turned back to Garnet, one finger tapping her chin in thought. “I’m hoping we can sneak in there, since it will be just us. We’ll have to head through the plains west of here. I have a map that shows a small expanse of land that acts as a bridge.” She wasn’t sure what to do once they got there, but she knew that would be their first step. Rinoa was confident they could get there… her only worry was about getting out. She had no idea how many mannequins they would encounter and there were sure to be a lot more on the Chaos side.
Garnet agreed with her Chaos people seemed to know more then they did and it was a good place to start. She pointed west making sure she had heard her right. “Sneaking in is a very brilliant plan. You have a map , well that will make life a little easier” she said smiling at Rinoa’s plan. It may be easier getting in then out there where a lot more on Chaos side then there’s but maybe Chaos side would be distracted by the one’s fighting on there side. This was a very tricky thing they were about to do but she had faith that her and Rinoa would make a great team. “Shell we go as there be distracted for a while?” she asked her campion,
Garnet smiled and shock Serah’s hand “Come get some food” she said as she started to walk beckoning Serah to follow her, she stooped when she said about staying. She turned to the pink haired and placed her hands behind her back ”I have somewhere you can stay if you want.” she said, new Bodhem she’d never heard o f that name before she thought. “New Bodhem?” she asked Serah curiously, she wondered where this girl came from.“Thank you Garnet.” she smiled as she followed her. She was rather enjoying her company and looked at her. “Oh but I don’t want to cause any trouble for you.” she shook her head lightly, worried about causing trouble for her new friend.
“Yes, it’s a uhm…a small but beautiful place on the beach.” Serah smiled at her, trying to figure out how to explain where she lived to her.
Garnet smiled “No problem Serah and never think it’s trouble” she said to her. “It’s pretty big my place and old so I hope you don’t mind it but it is very beautiful” she said softly. She started to walk again making sure Serah was beside her “Sounds lovely, to live on a beach must be peaceful she said imaging it
Garnet giggled at his response, she hadn’t seen him that happy in a while. She placed her hands behind her back “You know I only ever say what I mean. I’m glad, I thought for a second you where going to be like well you know” she said not really sure how to say she thought she’d be rejected by him. She placed her lips softly on his and smiled “Yes, I mean it” she said waiting for him to go red.
That was a long time coming. Zidane did beam and flash a very big grin after the kiss, though. “So, we’re officially together, then?” he asked excitedly.
Garnet titled her head “That’s up to you” she said smiling she didn’t want to force him into something and she didn’t want to assume that just because she kissed him meant they where together. “If you want to then I’d be more then happy to be official” she said looking down, how she had waited for this answer, she only hoped it was the one she wanted to hear if not then she’d get used to them being just friends. Garnet then wondered what if it was the answer she wanted to hear? She knew it may not be but there was a chance it could be and that would make her really happy to have someone she loved saying the answer she wanted to hear.

”Could be, if we manage to find it sooner rather than later.” She side nodded before taking her steps around the place, searching for any unfamiliar objects. Then a thought hit her.
”Perhaps we should split up to look around the town.” The soldier suggested, knowing that that’ll be the best course of action if they want to get things done faster. Plus, it’s not like the town’s infested with monsters, so it’ll be an easy walk across the beach for them.
“That does seem like the best option as we may find it quicker that way. Shell we meet up after we finished with our section?” she asked before walking off to find this object.
“So where should we look first Light?” she had no idea how long it would take or any of the places but she was glad she had help. She knew Lightning could help and was glad she had someone to help her.
”Well, since the artefact can be practically anywhere, we might as well start at where we’re at.” The soldier said as she looked at her surroundings, silently hoping that the artefact would be here. If not, this will be a long search that can go on for days, if not weeks.
“Wow I guess this is going to take a while, I was hoping it would be simple” she smiled as she knew it would be hard but it was basic that it wasn’t going to be easy for them to find this artefact.
